Luxembourg has been an Affiliate Member of the ICC since 1998 and is currently ranked 78th of 90 national teams by CricketEurope.
A 13-man Luxembourgish squad led by William Heath travelled to Cyprus in September for the ICC European Division 4 Championship, Luxembourg's fourth outdoor tournament since their international debut in Vienna in 2003. Luxembourg won two of their five games, finishing fourth out of the six competing nations (Austria, Cyprus, Finland, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Switzerland). An 8-man Luxembourg squad traveled to Kuortane, Finland to compete for the third time at the ICC European Indoor Championship. Luxembourg claimed their first ever victory over France as well as defeating Greece for the second consecutive tournament, finishing 6th, their highest placement yet. In February 2006 a Luxembourg team travelled to Lord's to play in their second European Indoor Championship. A selection of photographs from the tournament can be found in the media section of this website and details can be found at ICC Europe.
The European Indoor Championship in Herning, Denmark, gave several of Luxembourg's U-25s the opportunity to experience their first taste of international cricket.
The European Representative Championships 2004 in Slovenia saw Luxembourg's second international outdoor tournament. Scorecards and statistics can be found here.
2003 saw Luxembourg's debut performance at an international tournament, taking part in the ECC Trophy 2003 in Vienna.
