The Pierre Werner Ground is in Walferdange by the river Alzette and is on ground kindly provided by the Walferdange Commune to Optimists Cricket Club. After former patron and honorary Optimists' President Pierre Werner's death it was renamed in his honour. The ground is one of the best in the region with long boundaries and a very good lie. The track is artificial matting on concrete. Map.
The Schuman Oval in Évrange is 300 metres inside France, but less than ten miles from Luxembourg's city centre, on land that was part of the family farm of the 'father of Europe' Robert Schuman. The artificial track laid by NottsSports was mainly funded by the European Cricket Council, with Communities C.C. and nearly a score of players also making financial contributions. This cosy site is a temporary second ground while the state considers
what facilities will be provided at the new university near Esch and gives the L.C.F. the opportunity of bidding to host a European tournament.
